I'd never been to Paris in the fall.. until last month. It.is.amazing! The summer rush is gone, the weather is perfect for cutie fall coats, and the style is as gorgeous as ever. I was there on a whirlwind trip, but not too quick to miss the amazing flowers at George V (I was obsessing so much that the very nice French lady in the lobby walked me around and offered details on that weeks' installment), ridiculous cuisine and of, course, some French art and bubbly (because obviously the two go hand in hand). Let me indulge and share some of my favorite inspiration:
{French hotels have the best flowers. White was clearly in this fall.. Here are some hydrangea tufts at the Mandarin Oriental}

{Dreamy blooms at George V. I love the signature style!}

{seasonal hydrangea was everywhere! Just your "average" coffee table arrangement.. love}

{The Garden}

{These handsome bar carts grace every fashionable restaurant and bar. Hmm..what fun would it be to have these wheel around during the dinner party at a wedding?!}

If flowers don't do it for you, then the food will. I'm as inspired just looking at these treats (and this was just half the meal!):
{an amuse-bouche: Foie Gras in a sugar balloon}

{King Crab in a green tomato juices and coriander aspic, studded with spots of coral and tarragon mayonnaise}

{the cheese course. I also love the idea of doing this at a wedding. A beautiful French girl rolled this stunning table of cheese to our table and cut fresh selections.}

{one of the three (3!) desserts: Black Figs poached with spices, black currant juice, speculoos biscuit ice cream}

And, while the fancy food was fabulous, our long lunches were my favorite.

And finally, because I couldn't resist, I did see one bride and groom on our quick trip. They were taking photos in a garden in Germany and I quickly scurried over to take a peek (my husband was such a champ, sustaining all these food photos during lovely dinners and bride and groom hunts during our getaway!). Prior to our quick trip to Paris, we spent two days in Munich. Here's where I ran in to these guys:

{I literally couldn't help it}.
